Here's my attempt to make Bambi look even more like Sally (see right) by drawing him blue eyes, and I think it worked quite well!

So what's the point of this comparisson? eer.. I don't know really, it's just one of those, 'did you ever notice' comments. I just wonder why no-one's pointed it out before, that's all!

Okay, so at first glance, these pictures look totally different! Of course the lighting and background where different in each picture, so this affects the faces in some ways.

The first simularity I noticed, just by watching the SATam series on TV, was how simular, the eyes are. They are roughly the same shape in both characters and drawn in the same style. (of course different facial expressions change the shape slightly.)

When I began comparing the two charcters, I noticed that Sally's hair and Bambi's quiff are almost the same colour, and Sally's hairstlye is almost the same shape. Bambi's is more uneven and ruffed in the picture I have, but imagine what Sally's hair must be like before she brushes it in the morning!

Their noses are a simular shape, and both characters feature a lighter patches of fur around the muzzle and eyes, although the shapes of this are different in each character.
